CAR MEETS IN VICTORIA
Victoria’s car culture is built around Melbourne’s bayside cruise routes, the industrial pockets of the west and south-east, and a strong show-and-shine calendar driven by long-running clubs. Sunday meets organised through Car Meets Mel pull builds from across the city. Weeknight gatherings at Glenny Kebabs in Forest Hill have become a permanent fixture, while Friday and Saturday nights see JDM and stance crews ring the city through Port Melbourne, Notting Hill and Dandenong. Cars & Coffee runs across Brighton, Hawthorn and the Mornington Peninsula on Sunday mornings.
Geelong and the Bellarine pull strong weekend turnouts. Ballarat and Bendigo host the state’s biggest classic and muscle shows. Winton Motor Raceway is the workhorse of the Victorian track-day calendar, with Sandown, Phillip Island and Calder Park rounding out a state that has more working circuits within three hours of the capital than anywhere else in the country. Trackschool and the Australian Auto-Sport Alliance (AASA) maintain a steady pipeline of open practice and competition days across all four.
Motorclassica each October at the Royal Exhibition Building stands as the marquee spectator event on the national calendar. Browse upcoming Victorian meets below — filter by vibe or time of day on the main feed if you are hunting something specific.
