CAR MEETS IN TASMANIA

TAS 3 upcoming events Updated 13 MAY 2026

Tasmania’s calendar is smaller than the mainland’s, but the roads compensate. The state hosts Targa Tasmania each year — one of the world’s premier closed-road tarmac rallies — and the local scene revolves around the same kind of driving. Hobart’s meets cluster around Salamanca, Kingston and the Brooker Highway industrial pockets. Launceston runs its own steady Cars & Coffee rotation, coordinated through organisers like Japanese Classics Tasmania and CarSpotMeets rather than fixed weekly venues.

Devonport on the north-west coast picks up classic and muscle shows, often tied to the ferry’s spring and summer cruise traffic up from Victoria. Baskerville Raceway near Hobart and Symmons Plains south of Launceston handle club track days, with the Australian Auto-Sport Alliance (AASA) sanctioning much of the competition calendar.

Many local meets remain unadvertised. If you run one and it is not listed below, register your club to get it indexed. Currently-listed Tasmanian meets appear below. The volume is lower than NSW or VIC, but every entry is verified against an organiser page.
