BIG NEWS! OPEN TOP CARS CAN NOW COMPETE!

Got an MX-5 or another open-top sports car? We've got some exciting news!

Following approval, open vehicles are now eligible to compete in the 2026/27 Pro Speed Tarmac Sprint Series!

There's one important safety requirement:

Vehicles MUST be fitted with a Type 3 Safety Cage Structure complying with Motorsport Australia's Technical Appendix, Schedule J.

So if you've been sitting on the sidelines because your open top car wasn't previously eligible, now's your chance to join the action!
