About AXIS FEED

Last updated: 7 June 2026

Australia’s car meets are scattered across hundreds of Instagram accounts — events buried in feeds, easy to miss. AXIS FEED is the signal in that noise: one live feed of every upcoming meet, filterable by state, vibe, and time of day. It’s built for the whole Australian scene — JDM and street through to Euro, muscle, stance, 4x4, classic and exotic owners, plus track-day drivers and show-goers — and reads meets straight from public posts rather than waiting for submissions, so the listing keeps itself current. No logins, no paywall, no algorithm deciding what you see.

Who runs AXIS FEED

AXIS FEED is built and run by MIDNIGHT_SPEC, an independent Australian operator. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any car club, event organiser, venue, brand, or platform. We don’t sell tickets, take a commission, or run ads — the feed exists to make meets easy to find, nothing else.

How events get here

An automated pipeline scans 600+ public organiser Instagram accounts every day, works out what’s a real event, and clusters duplicate cross-posts so each meet shows once. Since launch in mid-2025 it has catalogued 2,400+ individual meets — around 81% on weekends, with about 17 days’ notice on average. The list auto-expands — new organiser pages get picked up continuously as they’re tagged across the scene. Organisers can also be added directly via the one-time REGISTER CLUB option in the site menu; individual events never need to be submitted. A fuller breakdown of how the feed works, plus a FAQ, lives on the home page.

What AXIS FEED is not

Accuracy

Listings are aggregated automatically from public posts and can change after we read them. Dates, times, and locations are organiser-controlled and may be updated or cancelled at short notice — car meets in particular get scrubbed same-day for weather. Always confirm details on the original organiser’s page (every event links back to its source) before you travel.

Corrections & removals

If you’re an organiser and want a listing corrected, or you want your account or a specific event removed from AXIS FEED, contact us and we’ll action it — usually within a few days:

Include a link to the event or the account name so we can find it fast. We remove on request from the account owner — no reason required. Each listing shows a thumbnail and summary drawn from a public post and links back to the source; if you hold rights to an image or post and want it taken down, the same contacts apply — you don’t need to be the original poster.

The art side

Beyond the feed, MIDNIGHT_SPEC makes JDM automotive art — prints and posters, with apparel on the way — over at midnightspec.com. Separate project; it has no bearing on what gets listed here.

Privacy

What we collect from visitors (email subscriptions and anonymous analytics only) and how to have it deleted is covered in our Privacy Policy.
