We’d like to congratulate South Australian motorsport official Peter Stevens, who has been named Motorsport Australia’s October Supercheap Auto Official Superstar.

Peter was recognised in part for his work as Chief Flag Marshal during the 2026 AirTouch 500 at The Bend, supporting fellow officials through some seriously challenging conditions across the weekend.

It’s a great reminder that some of the most important people at a motorsport event aren’t always the ones behind the wheel.

Now, we’re looking for officials to join us for the Shannons Australian Superbike Championship at The Bend from 13 to 15 November.

Accepted officials will receive:

1 x GA ticket for family or friends

Free unpowered camping across the event weekend

$100 fuel voucher

Lunch provided each day

Thank you BBQ dinner Saturday night
