GRUNGY RUNS: FIRST CAMPOUT

DRIVE OUT. CAMP OUT. GET LOST.

It's time to get out of the suburbs and head south for our first Grungy Runs cruise and campout!

We're kicking things off with a morning coffee and chats before hitting the road for a scenic cruise down to Nanga Mills, Lane Poole Reserve, for an overnight campout.

Saturday 17 – Sunday 18 October 2026

10:00 AM — Meet up at Dôme Café, Forrestfield

Around 11:00 AM — Cruise departs

1:00–1:30 PM — Estimated arrival at Nanga Mills

5:00 PM Saturday — Sausage sizzle at camp

Costs

• $17 park entry per vehicle

• $15 overnight camping per adult

First in, best dressed — choose your campsite on arrival, subject to availability.

Bring your camping gear, food, water and everything you need for a comfortable night out in the bush. Check the accompanying flyer for the full packing list and group rules.

Whether you're bringing a 4WD, a cruiser or another set of wheels, the idea is simple: enjoy the drive, explore somewhere different, meet some good people and spend a night under the stars.

Respect the environment, take your rubbish with you, look out for one another and leave the campsite as you found it.

No big expectations. No rush. Just good roads, fresh air and a night away from the usual routine.
