Street & Social SA, Nemesis Street Society , SA Performance Crew and Deadend Society are joining forces for a peaceful rally supporting Helen Sargent’s family.

We invite all car clubs, car enthusiasts and members of the public to stand with us.

Tie a purple ribbon to your car in support.

Helen was a 64-year-old grandmother and great-grandmother from Kilburn who died alone in a corridor at the Royal Adelaide Hospital on 11 October 2025. Her family is calling for change, and this rally will help amplify their voices and demand that corridor care is not ignored.

Helen’s family has also launched a petition calling for an end to corridor care. Once it reaches 12,000 signatures, it will be presented to Parliament. Attend the rally, sign the petition and help drive meaningful change.

Everyone is welcome—with or without a car club. Bring family and friends, and share this invitation to help us gather strong community support.

ABSOLUTELY NO HOONING WILL BE TOLERATED — NO EXCEPTIONS.

No burnouts, skids, revving or dangerous driving. Anyone behaving this way will be asked to leave, and dangerous or illegal behaviour will be reported to police. Respect Helen’s family, each other and the venue.

Let’s come together peacefully, stand with Helen’s family and make our voices heard.
