What a weekend for Australian motorsport. From MotoGP at Phillip Island to the Gold Coast 500 and Carrera Cup, the weather certainly had the final say.

And it was no different at Calder Park for the final round of the Porsche Club of Victoria Sprint Series.

With wet tyres fitted and racing lines reconsidered, our drivers braved some incredibly challenging conditions. Some embraced the rain, while others wisely opted for a warm coffee and good company!

Unfortunately, deteriorating conditions brought proceedings to an early close, with safety always our first priority.

Our biggest thank you goes to our incredible volunteers, marshals and officials. Standing trackside in pouring rain, with drenched jackets and soaking socks, you continued to give your time so the rest of us could enjoy the sport we love. Days like these remind us just how fortunate we are to have such dedicated people behind our Club.

To everyone who came out, competed, helped or simply shared a laugh in the rain, thank you. That’s what being part of a club is all about.

And with that, our competition season comes to a close! The points are now locked away, with the final championship results to be revealed at our Gala Dinner & Awards Night. A fitting celebration of another fantastic year of competition, camaraderie and Porsche passion.
