What’s on at Queensland Raceway this week

Last week the weather threw a few challenges, but we still got Friday Night Drift, Evo Day and Sunday Happy Laps done. Hoping the sunshine sticks around for another big week at QR.

Monday is track maintenance so the circuit is closed to the public.

Tuesday is a private Supercars test day, also closed to spectators.

Wednesday is Driving Events Australia with open pit lane and track sessions for race cars – check drivingevents.com.au for session times and bookings.

Thursday is The Drive Team performance track day for road cars and race cars (coaching available), full-day or half-day options at thedriveteam.com.au.

Friday is Candy Nats for the first time at QR. It’s a premium evening event with curated drivers, cruise and full-send sessions on the National Circuit, wet skid pan, show ’n’ shine, food trucks, live music and a kids zone. Gates open 4:30 pm, spectators from $25. Full details and tickets at candynats.com.

Saturday has a full line-up: Tōthsuri Drift (grassroots drift day on the Drift Playground – big seat time, tandems and show & shine, spectators usually free, follow @tothsuri), Off-Road Park for side-by-sides (drivers from around $80 full day, spectators free), QR Small Wheel mini-moto sessions (book via QR event sign-on), Track Attack short-track sprints in the afternoon, and the biggest Roll Racing Nationals yet with NSW vs QLD, a big prize pool and top workshops

Sunday brings Porsche Club Happy Laps (member social cruises under 120 km/h), Sakura Days (women-led drift day with learner morning, open sessions, show & shine and community vibes – follow @ally_mayhem), Cruise the Day for registered street cars, and Off-Road Park for trail and dirt bikes (adults around $60, kids under 12 cheaper, spectators free).

There’s something for everyone. Full details, times and tickets at qldraceways.com.au. Keep an eye on QR socials as schedules can change

See You at the Track
