ROSEWOOD RAMBLE & GARDEN PARTY

Step back in time on Saturday 5 September and celebrate the stories, people and places that make Rosewood special! Experience the Rosewood Ramble, a celebration of home, memory and community by following the ramble trail to discover the town's history, heritage and treasured places followed by a delightful afternoon garden party.

Morning Ramble - From 9:00am

Explore Rosewood's Heritage Trail, discover local history displays, complete the Rosewood Ramble Quiz for a chance to win prizes, and follow Thelma the Theropod footprints to identify participating businesses. Enjoy morning tea at the QCWA Rooms, a Lions Club sausage sizzle, and displays of classic vehicles around town.

Garden Party - 1:00pm to 5:00pm The Hut, 79 Matthew Street, Rosewood

Enjoy an afternoon of heritage talks, displays, demonstrations, stalls, music and family-friendly activities, including:

• Launch of the Rosewood History Group's Oral History Project

• Local history conversations with Dr Toni Risson and community elders

• Traditional cooking, crafts, gardening and woodworking demonstrations

• Community choir performances

• Flower displays, plant sales and crop swap

• Welcome to Country and Indigenous food talk with Jemarah Carr-Smith

• Children's activities and garden ramble

• Afternoon tea
