It’s the connections you forge through breaking something & having to jump pit bay to pit bay looking for zip ties. The hours you spend on track slowly beginning to recognise the other cars & their drivers. That feeling of absolutely smashing your mate down the straight and then lining up to do it all again.

It’s the quiet relief when you’re four-wide and get directed onto the grippier side of the track… which is apparently very much up for debate depending on who you ask.

It’s the gentle disappointment when something breaks and suddenly your pride and joy is off the road.

It’s the way your heart drops into your stomach when you realise that fix is going to be expensive.

And then, somehow, there’s the absolutely unadulterated joy of finding out you won $5 during pink slips

The absolute pride of bringing your car or bike back better, faster and with more power than you know how to handle.
