Toowoomba Steering & Suspension Modified Sedan Smackdown Series Returns Bigger Than Ever

The popular Toowoomba Steering & Suspension Modified Sedan Smackdown Series is back for the 2026/27 season, with an exciting boost for competitors thanks to the continued support of Dennis and Jodie Bullpitt from Toowoomba Steering & Suspension and the Charlton Raceway Sedan Club.

Following another successful season, the series will return with increased series prize money, paying out $8,500 to the top 10 drivers in the series. The expanded prize fund is designed to reward more competitors throughout the field and recognise the commitment of teams who support the series across the season.

The ongoing backing of Dennis and Jodie Bullpitt has been instrumental in establishing the Smackdown Series as Queensland's premier Modified Sedan championships, while the Charlton Raceway Sedan Club's continued financial support further strengthens the category and ensures the series continues to grow.

The 2026/27 Toowoomba Steering & Suspension Modified Sedan Smackdown Series will be contested over six rounds:

- Round 1: 26 September 2026

- Round 2: 7 November 2026

- Round 3: 31 December & 1 January 2027

- Round 4: 6 February 2027

- Round 5: 20 March 2027

- Grand Final: 10 April 2027

The continued investment from Toowoomba Steering & Suspension and the Charlton Raceway Sedan Club highlights their commitment to grassroots speedway and ensuring Modified Sedan racing continues to thrive in South East Queensland.

Round 3 of the Series also incorporates the Toowoomba Steering & Suspension $10,000 to win T-Bar Nationals, which again is set to be a spectacular fixture on the calendar.
