Today we celebrate all of the incredible mums who are part of the speedway family at Snapon Kalgoorlie International Speedway

From the mums in the pits, the canteen, the grandstands, the officials tower, the workshops, the bar, the photographers, the volunteers… and the mums cheering from the sidelines every single week — thank you.

Speedway is more than just racing cars… it’s families, sacrifice, support, late nights, long road trips, dirty washing, helping hands and unconditional encouragement. None of it happens without the amazing mums behind the scenes.

Whether you’re helping bolt a car together, packing the trailer, running kids to race meetings, volunteering your time, or simply being there every step of the way — this sport wouldn’t be the same without you.

To all the mums, step mums, grandmothers and mother figures in our speedway community — we hope you have an amazing day and get thoroughly spoilt!
