Whitehills Clean Up Day

After our last visit to Whitehills, we were honestly left speechless. The amount of rubbish left behind was disappointing and unacceptable. This beach has always been our go to, and it deserves far more respect.

Every visit, we leave with more rubbish than we arrived with and it shouldn’t be that way. If we don’t start looking after places like this, we risk losing access altogether.

So, we’re organising a Whitehills Clean Up Day, and we’d love for you to be part of it. Bring some rubbish bags and help us collect as much as we can!! Glass bottles, cans, broken chairs, gazebos, and more.

We’ll head down early, clean up as much as possible, then park up, have a swim, cook some lunch, and enjoy the beach the right way.

A few important things to note: • This day is about doing good, we won’t be supporting any stupidity or irresponsible behaviour. • We’ll have trailers and will drive along the beach only, parking in different spots and cleaning on foot. • We will not be driving in the dunes. (The only time we’ll enter the dunes is if we need to remove larger items that can’t be carried by hand).

• Everyone is responsible for themselves, their own vehicle, personal safety, and behaviour throughout the day.

• Participation is purely voluntary as this is not a formal event.

We’d really appreciate your support in helping clean up this beach.
